비트코인 가격이 6만달러 밑으로 떨어졌다.

비트코인 가격은 2024년 5월 1일 오전 5시쯤 6만달러 아래로 떨어졌다. 비트코인 6만달러가 붕괴된 것은 지난 2024년 4월 18일 이후 12일 만이다. 비트코인 가격 상승을 견인했던 미국 현물 상장지수펀드(ETF)에서 자금이 대규모로 빠져나간 점이 가격에 영향을 미친 것으로 보인다. 지난 29일 기준 4월 현물 ETF에서는 1억8200만달러의 자금이 빠져나갔다. 3월 46억 달러의 자금이 들어온 것과 대조된다.

 

전날 홍콩 현물 ETF 첫 거래가 개시됐지만 거래량이 시장 기대감에 미치지 못한 점도 비트코인 가격을 끌어내렸다. 전날 홍콩 ETF에는 1100만달러의 자금이 유입됐다. 이는 시장이 예상한 1억달러에 훨씬 못 미치는 수준이다. 미국 ETF는 첫 거래일에 46억 달러가 몰렸다. 전문가들은 비트코인이 5만달러대 초반까지 떨어질 수 있다는 전망을 내놓고 있다. 레든의 최고투자책임자(CIO) 존 글로버는 “차트 분석 결과, 비트코인이 5만달러 초중반까지 떨어질 수 있다”며 “이 선까지 내려가면 저가 매수의 기회”라고 말했다.

The large-scale outflow of funds from the U.S. Spot Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), which drove the rise in Bitcoin prices, seems to have affected the price. As of the 29th, $182 million of funds were withdrawn from the spot ETF in April. This is in contrast to $4.6 billion in March.

 

The first trading of spot ETFs in Hong Kong was launched on the previous day, but the fact that trading volume fell short of market expectations also brought down the price of Bitcoin. On the previous day, 11 million dollars of funds flowed into the Hong Kong ETFs. This is far below the 100 million dollars the market had expected. The U.S. ETFs attracted 4.6 billion dollars on the first trading day. Experts predict that Bitcoin could fall to the low $50,000 range. "Chart analysis shows that Bitcoin could fall to the early-mid-$50,000 range," said John Glover, chief investment officer of Redden. "If it goes down to this level, it's an opportunity to buy at a low price."
