암호화폐 겨울은 마침내 끝났고 비트코인은 금년 말까지 10만달러에 도달할 잠재적 가능성을 갖고 있다고 스탠다드차타드 은행이 2023년 4월 24일 공개한 보고서에서 전망했다.

코인데스크에 따르면 스탠다드차타드는 이날 보고서에서 비트코인의 10만달러 도달은 최근 경험한 은행 위기 등 여러 요인들에 의해 주도될 가능성이 있다고 밝혔다.

 

분석가 지오프 켄드릭은 “이러한 상황에서 비트코인은 브랜드화 된 안전한 피난처, 상대적 가치 저장이라는 인식, 그리고 송금 수단이라는 지위를 통해 이익을 얻었다”고 적었다.

비트코인은 올해 들어 65% 상승했고 지난주 3만달러를 넘어선 뒤 다시 후퇴했다. 스탠다드차타드는 연방준비제도(연준)의 금리 인상 사이클이 종착점에 다가서면서 위험자산에 대한 보다 폭넓은 거시적 배경이 점차 개선되는 것도 비트코인의 10만달러 도달 가능성을 점치는 한가지 요인으로 지목했다. 스탠다드차타드는 또 다가오는 비트코인 반감기도 긍정적 요인으로 평가하며 현재 약 47%인 비트코인의 도미넌스 비율이 다시 50% ~ 60%까지 상승할 것으로 전망했다.

The crypto winter is finally over and Bitcoin has the potential to reach $100,000 by the end of the year, a report released by Standard Chartered Bank on April 24, 2023, predicted. According to CoinDesk, Standard Chartered said in a report that Bitcoin's reach of $100,000 is likely to be driven by a number of factors, including the recent banking crisis.

 

"In these situations, Bitcoin has benefited from its status as a branded safe haven, relative value storage, and a means of remittance," analyst Gioff Kendrick wrote. Bitcoin has risen 65% this year and has retreated again after surpassing $30,000 last week. Standard Chartered pointed to the gradual improvement in the broader macro background of risky assets as the Federal Reserve's rate hike cycle approaches its final point, which is one of the factors predicting Bitcoin's chances of reaching $100,000. Standard Chartered also evaluated the upcoming half-life of Bitcoin as a positive factor, predicting that Bitcoin's domination ratio, which is currently about 47%, will rise again to 50% to 60%.
