비트코인이 내년 봄 예정된 반감기 이후 사상 최고가를 경신할 것이라는 전망이 이어지고 있지만 반감기 이전 새로운 사상 최고치 도달이 가능할 것이라는 전망이 나왔다. 2023년 9월15일 코인텔레그래프에 따르면 소셜미디어에서 논평가로 활동하는 비트퀀트(BitQuant) 이날 X(구 트위터)에 올린 새 포스팅에서 비트코인의 반감기 이전 목표가를 6만9000 달러 이상으로 예상했다. 이는 얼마 전 분석가 Filbfilb가 제시한 반감기 전 최고 목표가 4만6000 달러를 넘어서는 수치다. 비트퀀트는 “비트코인이 반감기 전에 ‘정상’에 도달하지는 않을 것”이라고 적었다. 하지만 그는 “비트코인이 반감기 전에 ‘새로운 사상 최고가’에는 도달할 것”으로 전망했다.

 

비트퀀트는 내년 4월 이전에 비트코인이 2021년 11월 수립된 기존의 사상 최고가를 넘어선 뒤 반감기 이후 랠리를 지속하며 25만 달러까지 전진할 것으로 내다봤다. 그는 반감기 이후 “목표가는 약 25만 달러”라고 밝혔다. 비트코인은 2024년 4월 채굴 보상이 절반으로 줄어드는 반감기를 겪게 된다. 많은 분석가들은 비트코인이 반감기 이후 사상 최고가를 경신할 것으로 예상하지만 신중한 목소리도 적지 않다.

BitQuant predicted that before April next year, Bitcoin would continue its rally after the half-life after surpassing the previous record high set in November 2021 and advance to $250,000. "The target price is about $250,000," he said after the half-life. Bitcoin will experience a half-life in April 2024 in which mining rewards will be halved. Many analysts expect Bitcoin to hit an all-time high after the half-life, but many are cautious.
