금융 뉴스 벤징가(Benzinga)에 따르면 분석가 마이클 반데 포프는 엑스에 “역사적인 날, 비트코인이 개당 7만 달러에 도달했다”면서 새로운 역대 최고가지만 아직도 크게 저평가되어 있다”고 말했다. 그는 비트코인의 새로운 목표 가격을 제시하지 않았지만 그 가치가 현재 가격보다 훨씬 더 높다고 강조했다. 그는 비트코인이 인플레이션에 대한 방어 수단으로 작용하며 구매력과 자본을 보존하는 데 도움이 된다며 BTC에 투자할 것을 주장했다. 그는 “이번 주기에서는 훨씬 더 높은 수치를 볼 것이라고 생각한다”고 말했다.

 

마이클 반데 포프는 통상 직전에 가격이 하락했던 반감기 이벤트를 앞두고 비트코인 강세가 지속되는 이유로 상장지수펀드(ETF)를 꼽았다. 암호화폐 시장 전반에 걸쳐 낙관적인 분위기가 형성되고 있으며 비트코인이 이를 주도하고 있다. 비트코인의 시가총액은 2024년 초 8680억 달러에서 현재 1조 3390억 달러로 증가했다.

"On a historic day, Bitcoin reached $70,000 each," analyst Michael Vande Pope told X, according to financial news Benzinga. "It's a new all-time high, but it's still significantly undervalued." He did not offer a new target price for Bitcoin, but stressed that its value is much higher than its current price. He insisted on investing in BTC, saying that Bitcoin acts as a defense against inflation and helps preserve purchasing power and capital. "I think we'll see a much higher number this cycle," he said.

 

Michael Vande Pope cited exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as the reason for the continued strength of Bitcoin ahead of the half-life event, which usually saw prices fall just before. Optimism is building across the cryptocurrency market, with Bitcoin leading the way. Bitcoin's market capitalization has increased from $868 billion in early 2024 to $1.339 trillion now.
