암호화폐 친화 국가 1위 독일,한국 14위, 일본 27위

암호화폐 시장 분석 기업 코인큐브(Coincube)가 2022년 3분기 전 세계 암호화폐 친화국가 순위를 발표했다. 
친암호화폐 국가 1위는 독일이 꼽혔다. 독일은 지난 1분기부터 2분기, 3분기까지 연속으로 친암호화폐 국가 1위에 올랐다. 지난해 공동 1위였던 미국은 7위로 내려앉았다. 최근 관련 규제가 강화되는 움직임이 반영됐다.
2위는 유럽 블록체인 허브 국가를 꿈꾸는 스위스가, 3위는 호주, 4위는 UAE, 5위는 싱가포르가 차지했다. 6위는 말레이시아, 7위는 미국, 8위는 홍콩, 9위는 바하마, 10위는 대만이 선정됐다. 10위권 내 아시아 국가가 5개나 자리하는 등 아시아 지역의 암호화폐 선호도가 선명히 드러났다. 한국은 종합 14위에 자리를 잡았으며 일본은 27위에 그쳤다.
독일은 암호화폐에 대해 국민들이 전반적으로 긍정적인 이미지를 가지고 있으며 암호화폐 정책과 세제 제도도 암호화폐 투자를 합법화하고 긍정적인 면을 유도하는 부분에서 좋은 점수를 받았다. 일례로 독의 소득세법은 암호화폐 취득 1년 후에는 매각해 현금화해도 비과세 혜택을 받을 수 있다. 독일 재무부는 지난 5월 암호화폐 투자 과세에 대해 포괄적인 가이드라인을 발표하는 등 관련 투자에 적극 대처하고 있다.
2위인 스위스는 뛰어난 암호화폐 인프라, 3위인 호주는 과세 정책과 법안, 암호화폐에 호의적인 정부 입장 등이 긍정적으로 반영됐다. 반면 싱가포르는 지난 8월 암호화폐 규제 강화 방침을 발표함에 따라 2분기 2위에서 이번 3분기에는 5위로 밀려났다.  종합 순위와 별도로 블록체인 및 암호화폐 관련 기업이 가장 많은 국가는 미국, 싱가포르, 영국, 스위스, 캐나다, 홍콩, 중국, 네덜란드, 독일, 프랑스 순이었다. 암호화폐에 투자하는 국민 비율이 많은 국가는 베트남, 미국, 남아프리카공화국, 파키스탄, 나이지리아 순이다. 코인큐브는 2021년부터 암호화폐 친화 국가 순위를 발표하고 있다. 해당 국가의 블록체인 기업의 수, 법률과 규제 상황, 중앙은행의 정책, 은행/금융산업의 제도 등을 종합해 순위를 선정한다.

 

Coincube, a cryptocurrency market analysis company, announced the ranking of cryptocurrency-friendly countries around the world in the third quarter of 2022.
Germany was ranked No. 1 in pro-cryptocurrency countries. Germany topped the list of pro-cryptocurrency countries in a row from the first quarter to the second and third quarters. The U.S., which was tied for first place last year, fell to seventh place. The recent move to tighten related regulations has been reflected.
Switzerland, which dreams of becoming a European blockchain hub country, was ranked second, Australia was ranked third, UAE was ranked fourth, and Singapore was ranked fifth. Malaysia ranked sixth, the United States ranked seventh, Hong Kong ranked eighth, the Bahamas ranked ninth, and Taiwan ranked tenth. The preference for cryptocurrency in Asia was clearly revealed, with five Asian countries in the top 10. Korea ranked 14th overall, while Japan finished 27th.
In Germany, people have a positive image of cryptocurrency in general, and cryptocurrency policies and tax systems also received good grades in legalizing cryptocurrency investment and inducing positive aspects. For example, Germany's income tax law can benefit from tax exemption even if it is sold and cashed after one year of acquiring cryptocurrency. Germany's Ministry of Finance is actively responding to related investments by announcing comprehensive guidelines for taxation on cryptocurrency investment in May.
Switzerland, ranked second, has excellent cryptocurrency infrastructure, Australia, ranked third, positively reflected taxation policies, bills, and the government's position in favor of cryptocurrency. On the other hand, Singapore announced its policy to tighten regulations on cryptocurrency in August, falling from second place in the second quarter to fifth place in the third quarter. Apart from the overall ranking, the countries with the largest number of blockchain and cryptocurrency-related companies were the United States, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Hong Kong, China, the Netherlands, Germany, and France. Countries with a large proportion of people investing in cryptocurrency are Vietnam, the United States, South Africa, Pakistan, and Nigeria. Coin Cube has been announcing its ranking of cryptocurrency-friendly countries since 2021. The ranking is selected by compiling the number of blockchain companies in the country, laws and regulatory situations, central bank policies, and banking/financial industry systems.
