모건크릭캐피털매니지먼트(Morgan Creek Capital Management)의 최고경영자(CEO) 마크 유스코(Mark Yusko)가 "비트코인과 암호화폐 시장이 새로운 강세장의 초입에 들어섰다"며 "랠리는 다음 반감기인 내년까지 지속될 것"이라고 전망했다. 이와 관련해 그는 "금은 휴대할 수도 나눌 수도 없다. 영구적이고 불변하는 원장인 비트코인은 앞으로 금을 대체하는 새로운 기본 계층(base layer) 화폐로 자리를 잡을 것"이라며 "그 기초에 미래의 금융 시스템이 구축될 것이며 이더리움이나 블록체인 기술이 중요한 역할을 할 것이다. 이더리움이 법정화폐를 대체하는 수단이 될 수 있을 것"이라고 덧붙였다.

In this regard, he said, "Gold cannot be carried or divided. Bitcoin, a permanent and immutable ledger, will become a new base layer currency that replaces gold in the future, he said. "A future financial system will be built on the basis of that, and Ethereum or blockchain technology will play an important role." "Ethereum could be a means of replacing legal tender," he added.
