미국의 비트코인 현물 상장지수펀드(ETF) 승인 다음 타자가 이더리움 현물 ETF가 될 것이라는 기대와 맞물려 이더리움과 비트코인 선물 ETF 수익률도 커지고 있다. 이더리움 선물 ETF는 비트코인 현물 ETF 승인과 함께 더욱 상승세를 탈 것으로 관측된다.

실제로 2024년 5월23일 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)는 처음으로 이더리움 현물 ETF 승인 여부를 결정해야 하는 것으로 전해져있다. 자산운용사 반에크가 신청한 이더리움 현물 ETF 상장 결과를 발표해야하는 것이다. 시장에서도 이더리움에 대한 기대감이 커지는 상태다.
