올해 암호화폐 대장주 비트코인(BTC)이 개당 최대 5200만원까지 오를 수 있다는 분석이 나왔다.
가상자산거래소 빗썸 산하 빗썸경제연구소는 17일 '2023년 가상자산 시장 전망' 리포트에서 "올해 크립토 규제의 명확성 등이 갖춰지면 더 많은 국가와 기관이 가상자산을 포트폴리오에 편입시킬 수 있을 것"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.
올해 가상자산 가격에 영향을 줄 수 있는 이슈로는 *미국 연준의 긴축기조 완화 *러시아 무역결제 수단으로 가상자산 허용 가능성 *SEC 리플 소송 결과 등을 꼽았다. 우선 연구소는 여러 변수들을 종합적으로 고려했을 때 2023년 코인 가격은 전년대비 긍정적인 궤적을 그릴 가능성이 높다고 분석했다. 지난해 가상자산 시장의 발목을 잡았던 약세 요인들이 완전히 해소되진 않았지만 이를 상쇄하는 호재성 이슈가 더욱 크다는 이유에서다. 연구소가 뽑은 첫 번째 이슈는 연준의 긴축기조 완화다. 리포트에 따르면 미국 소비자물가는 2022년 8%에서 2023년 4%로 낮아질 전망이며, 인플레이션 압력 둔화에 따라 긴축적인 통화정책을 유지할 필요성이 줄어들 가능성이 높다. 연준의 완화적인 기조 정책은 향후 스테이블 코인 발행량 증가로 이어져 크립토 시장 유동성 회복에도 도움을 줄 것으로 보인다. 러시아의 친(親)크립토 정책도 기대 요소 중 하나다. 아나톨리 악사코프 러시아 금융위원회 위원장 등은 지난해 11월 디지털 화폐의 채굴과 판매를 합법화하는 개정안을 제출했다. 또한 아나톨리 위원장은 최근 현지 언론사와 인터뷰를 통해 빠른 시일 내로 국가 간 결제 수단으로 암호화폐를 허용하는 법안을 채택할 예정이라고 밝혔다. 하지만 주의해야 할 이슈도 있다. 일본의 가상자산 거래소인 마운트곡스 해킹 배상으로 지급된 14만개의 BTC가 오는 3월부터 시장에 풀릴 가능성이 있다. 마운트곡스는 빠르면 3월 10일부터 상환이 시작될 수 있고 9월 말에 지급이 종료될 수 있다고 공지한 바 있다. 리포트는 "채권자들이 해당 물량을 언제 시장에 매도할지 추측이 어려운 만큼 주의가 필요하다"고 지적했다. 이미선 빗썸경제연구소 리서치센터장은 "올해 가상자산 이슈를 종합적으로 고려했을 때 BTC 가격이 최대 5200만원까지 오를 수 있다"면서도 "다만 대형 거래소의 추가적인 파산이나 새로운 대체자산의 등장으로 비트코인 네트워크 이용률이 떨어지는 등 예측하지 못한 변수가 발생할 경우 가격 전망은 영향을 받을 수 있다"고 설명했다.

This is because the bearish factors that hampered the virtual asset market last year have not been completely resolved, but there are even more favorable issues that offset them. The first issue selected by the institute is the easing of the Fed's tightening stance. According to the report, U.S. consumer prices are expected to fall from 8% in 2022 to 4% in 2023, and the need to maintain tight monetary policy is likely to decrease due to slowing inflationary pressure. The Fed's easing stance policy is expected to lead to an increase in stable coin issuance in the future, which will also help restore liquidity in the crypto market. Russia's pro-crypto policy is also one of the expected factors. Anatoly Axakov, chairman of the Russian Financial Services Commission, and others submitted an amendment to legalize the mining and sale of digital currency in November last year. In addition, Chairman Anatoli recently said in an interview with local media that he will adopt a bill to allow cryptocurrency as a means of payment between countries as soon as possible. But there are also issues to watch out for. There is a possibility that 140,000 BTCs paid for hacking Mount Goks, a Japanese virtual asset exchange, will be released to the market from March. MountGox has announced that repayment could begin as early as March 10 and that payments could end at the end of September. The report pointed out, "Caution is needed as it is difficult to guess when creditors will sell the quantity to the market." Lee Mi-sun, head of the research center at Bithumb Economic Research Institute, said, "Considering the virtual asset issue comprehensively this year, BTC prices could rise up to 52 million won," adding, "However, if unexpected variables such as additional bankruptcy of large exchanges or the emergence of new alternative assets occur, the price outlook could be affected."
